#BBNaija: “If you didn’t come to this house, I would have made a voluntary exit” — Saga tells Nini

BBNaija ‘Shine Your Eye’ housemate, Saga Adeolu has revealed that he would have taken a voluntary exit from the show if Nini had not participated.


Saga has never been short of drama ever since he started his adventure at the reality show with his relationship with Nini always the talking point.
The talented young instructor has become popular for hanging around Nini and it wasn’t surprising when he failed the special task given to him by Biggie.

Saga was asked to avoid Nini for some days but he failed woefully, spilling the truth to Nini just hours after he started the task.

This move earned him a strike and another one followed after he was found whispering some words to Nini.

Despite all this, Saga during a conversation with Nini, Emmanuel and Liquorose stated that he would have asked for a voluntary exit if Nini was not around.

However, Nini replied by stating he would have gone for another housemate if she was not around.

Liquorose also insisted that Saga was lying but he denied it, claiming he would have asked to leave the show if Nini is not in the show.

Varsity workers begin nationwide strike Feb 5

Non-teaching staff in universities will commence a nationwide strike from February 15, 2021 over the Federal Government’s handling of the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System(IPPIS), sharing formula of the N40 billion earned academic allowances and non-payment of arrears of the new minimum wage. The workers, under the Joint Action Committee, which is made up of Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities, (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) had last week embarked on a three- day protest over government’s failure to honour the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed with the unions on 20th October, 2020. Gas explosion, truck, bandits kill 24 in Delta, Ondo, Kaduna PunchJan 24, 2021

At least 24 persons were killed in a gas explosion, road crash and a bandit attack in Delta, Ondo and Kaduna states respectively. Ten persons reportedly died on Friday night in Agbor, the headquarters of Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State after a gas plant went up in flames, destroying several buildings, vehicles and leaving many persons with serious injuries. Eyewitnesses told Sunday PUNCH that a gas tanker had arrived at the Osadebe Gas Plant along the expressway around 6pm. One of them, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said instead of waiting for hours to allow the vehicle and the content to cool off, they started discharging it immediately. He said, “In the process, the tanker went up in flames and over seven buildings around the plant were burnt down, more than 10 people died while many were injured. “They rushed the injured victims to the Central Hospital, Agbor, but there was nothing on the ground to attend to victims. It is a shame on the government.
